To track your ad results with HilltopAds, you need to use a Postback method, also known as server-to-server conversion tracking method that allows advertisers to capture each ad conversion (purchase, registration, form filling, or any other desired action) and quickly evaluate the cost feasibility of a particular offer.

Before setting up BlackList, you need to identify non-profitable ad zones. To do so, please check out your statistics.

To specify non-profitable ad zones to BlackList, do the following:

  1. Go to your HilltopAds account;

  2. Navigate to the Manage Campaigns section;

  3. Click on the Settings symbol near the required campaign;

  4. Click on the BlackList option;

  5. Specify non-profitable ad zone ADs separated by comma;

  6. Click on the Save button.

Thanks to it, the specified ad zones will be removed from traffic sources of your active ad campaign.

Please note, you can specify only Black or WhiteList. If you set up BlackList, your ads will not be shown at the specified ad zones, but will be shown at new zones. If you set up WhiteList, your ads will be shown only at the specified ad zones. That is why we recommend you to create a new ad campaign with the same settings and launch it to the WhiteList zones.
