Where to check statistics of active campaigns?

Everything about the Dashboard and Statistics section

At HilltopAds, there are two sections where you can check your results.

Dashboard

In the Dashboard section, you can see number of impressions you got for the last 15 days of activities all created and active ad campaigns. The graph shows you the general statistics.

Please note, the Statistics are updated every 15 minutes by UTC.

There you can click the View all statistics link to be redirected to the Statistics section or you can navigate to the section directly by clicking the Statistics button of the left menu.

Statistics section

In the Statistics section you can get statistics for the necessary filters: advertising formats, period, targeting settings, campaigns, etc. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Statistics section;

  2. There select the necessary filters;

  3. Click the Get statistics button.

What filters are available?

You can select any filter you need from the list:

  1. Format - you can select mobile or desktop popunder, in-page, video and banner formats to check your spending amounts to the selected ad formats;

  2. Campaign - you can select all necessary ad campaigns to check its statistics;

  3. Price model - you can select the necessary pricing models (CPM or CPC);

  4. Ad - you can select the necessary advertisement;

  5. OS - you can select the Operating Systems (OS) you have targeted to;

  6. Zone - you can select the exact advertising zone where your ads were shown;

  7. Country - you can select a country where your ads were shown;

  8. Grouping - there you need to select a parameter by which the statistics will be grouped:

    • Date - results will be shown for each active day;

    • Hour - results will be shown for each active hour;

    • Campaign - results will be shown for each active campaign;

    • Ad - results will be shown for each active ad;

    • Zone + Subzone - results will be shown for each active ad zone;

    • Zone?

    • Format - results will be shown for each active ad format;

    • GEO - results will be shown for each active targeted country;

    • Device - results will be shown for each active targeted device (mobile/desktop/tablet);

    • Browser - results will be shown for each active targeted browser;

    • Browser + Its version - results will be shown for each active targeted browser and its version;

    • OS - results will be shown for each active targeted Operating system;

    • OS + Its version - results will be shown for each active targeted Operating System and its version;

    • Language - results will be shown for each active targeted Language;

    • Connection type - results will be shown for each active targeted connection type (broadband/mobile/satellite);

    • Conversion label?.

  9. Date period - there you need to specify for which date period (today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, etc) you want to get statistics.

How to analize the results?

After selecting all necessary options for statistics, you will see a table with the results. There will be the following parameters:

  • In the first two columns, you will see a number of rows and a name of grouping option;

  • In the second column, you will see a number of received impressions for the selected date period;

  • In the third column, you will see the specified CPM rate in USD;

  • In the fourth column, you will see the number of received clicks for the selected date period (only applicable for CPC formats);

  • In the fifth column, you will see CTR (click-through-rate) - only applicable for CPC formats;

  • In the sixth column, you will see a number of received conversions for the selected date period;

Please be informed: to see a number of conversions, you need to set up Postback

  • In the seventh column, you will see a cost per conversion (eCPA);

  • In the last column, you will see a spent amount in USD for the selected date period.
