How can you evaluate the volume of impressions?

Everything about the Estimation Tool section

At HilltopAds, we have more than 73+ billions of impressions from direct traffic sources (websites) from all over the world.

If you want to know the potential number of impressions that your ad campaigns can receive, you need to follow the bellow steps.

Please note that the results are calculated based on the selected targeting settings (filters) and yesterday's statistics.

How to use the Estimation tool?

To evaluate the potential volume of impressions, please do the following:

  1. Login to your HilltopAds account for advertisers;

  2. Navigate to the Estimation Tools section;

  3. From the Options, you need to select the desired:

    • Ad format (mobile or desktop) - popunder, video or banner;
      You can only select one ad format.

    • Traffic channels - mainstream or non-mainstream and its activity;
      You can select any traffic channels you are interested in.

    • Browser - you can include or exclude the exact browsers from the report;
      You can select any browsers you are interested in.

    • OS (operating systems) - you can include or exclude the exact OS from the report;
      You can select any OS you are interested in.

    • GEO - a country or a group of countries where HilltopAds has traffic from;
      You can select any countries you are interested in.

  4. Click on the Estimate button.

Results

After clicking, you will see a graph with the results. On the Y-axis, you will see the number of impressions per day. On the X-axis, you will see the potential CPM rates that you need to specify when creating an advertising campaign in order to get the specified number of impressions.

Below the graph you will see a table with the minimum and recommended rates for impressions in the selected countries.


For example

If you want to know how many impressions you will get if you launch a Chrome Popunder mobile advertising campaign in the USA, you can specify the following options:

  • Ad format - popunder mobile;

  • Traffic channels - mainstream high and medium activities;

  • Browser - Chrome;

  • GEO - US.

In our example, we see that:

  • The minimum number of impressions for the selected options is 200,000 per day.

  • The maximum number of impressions is 1,600,000 per day.

Thanks to the Estimation tool, you can evaluate the potential number of impressions and your results.

Please note, the higher CPM rate you specify, the more impressions you will receive.
