The Mainstream category is a category that cater to a broad audience and typically include content that is considered safe, non-controversial, and suitable for a wide range of users. Usually, there are news, entertainment, lifestyle, and popular culture content in the Mainstream category.

In a simple word, the mainstream category is for those who do not work with 18+ offers.

Please be informed, the mainstream category contains advertisements without 18+ content, but including mainstream dating, betting, gambling, games content.

The Non-mainstream category is suitable for some advertisers who work with 18+ offers.

You can select the category while creating an ad campaign. To select the category, go to the HilltopAds account for advertisers and navigate to the Manage Campaigns section. Click on the Add Campaign button and select the preferred category.

If you select the wrong category, you can change it in the Campaign edit mode.
