What is a Direct Link?
At HilltopAds, you can work with DirectLink to monetize websites or traffic from social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Telegram, etc).
DirectLink is an ad link that contain a Popunder ad. When your audience click the link, they will be redirected to an advertising page where they should make a conversion.
If you place a DirectLink on your website or blog, you have the flexibility to choose what triggers the ad to open - it can be a button click, image click, or even a menu section click on your website.
Unlike regular ads that are displayed on the site, these links take the user directly to the advertiser's page.
How to create a Direct Link at HilltopAds?
Step #1:
Register with HilltopAds as a publisher. (You can do that using this link).
You need to specify your name, email, password and confirm that you have read the Terms of use and agreed with them.
Please specify your real email so you need to verify it.
Step #2:
Once you register with HilltopAds, navigate to the Manage Site & Zones section.
If you do not have traffic sources added to the HilltopAds monetization platform, so there you will see a pop up where you need to select your traffic source - in our case we want to monetize traffic from Social media, so we click the Create DirectLink button.
Step #3:
In the DirectLinks tab, click the Add Direct link button. Specify its name and select a category. Please note, the mainstream category is for traffic sources that have no age restrictions.
We recommend to name your DirectLink with a traffic source that you are going to monetize, for example Facebook. It will help you to manage your DirectLinks easier.
How to use it?
After you have created the DirectLink, you need to make it work. Use a DirectLink on your social networks: in video descriptions, posts, or even run ads in social networks. The more channels you use, the more traffic you will attract and you will be able to earn more.
