Prohibited traffic types
Before adding your website or app, make sure your traffic meets HilltopAds requirements. We accept a wide range of mainstream and non-mainstream traffic sources - including websites, social media pages, and mobile apps - as long as they comply with our content and quality standards.
Prohibited traffic types include:
Incentivised, Bux/ Faucet, or other low-quality traffic sources.
Traffic generated by bots, fraud or from other ad networks.
Traffic previously purchased from HilltopAds.

Adding your source
If your traffic source complies with our policies, you can move forward and add it for verification.
In the Manage Site & Zones you can add your traffic sources Websites, DirectLinks, and Mobile APPs.
Select your traffic source and follow the on-screen instructions to enter the required information. Don't forget to identify your traffic type - mainstream or non-mainstream.

If you have a mobile app, please contact your personal manager - they will assist you with setting up and monetizing your mobile application.
Verifying website ownership
Once you’ve added your website, you’ll need to verify ownership to confirm that you are the legitimate owner or administrator of the domain.
You can choose one of three verification methods:

Adding DirectLinks
If you want to monetize traffic from social media, you can do it with a Direct Link.
Open the DirectLinks tab and click the corresponding button
In the pop-up window enter the name for your Direct Link (we recommend naming it after the traffic source you plan to monetize, e.g. Facebook), and select a Category.
Please note: the Mainstream category is for traffic sources without age restrictions.
Once verification is complete, your traffic source (site/app/direct link) will appear as Verified in your HilltopAds account, and you can start creating ad zones and monetizing your traffic.
