How to verify your site if reCAPTCHA prevents HilltopAds from completing the verification.
Google reCAPTCHA is a security service that helps protect websites from spam, abuse, and automated bot activity. However, if reCAPTCHA is enabled on your site, it may interfere with the verification process in HilltopAds and prevent our systems from confirming your website ownership.
Below are two ways to resolve the issue and successfully verify your website.
Option 1. Temporarily disable reCAPTCHA
The simplest and fastest method is to temporarily disable reCAPTCHA while completing the verification process.
Verification typically takes no longer than 10–15 minutes.
Once your website ownership is successfully confirmed in HilltopAds, you can safely turn reCAPTCHA back on without affecting your monetization or account status.
This option is recommended if you have direct access to your website’s security settings.
Option 2. Contact your personal manager
If disabling reCAPTCHA is not possible, we can verify your website manually.
Please follow these steps:
Make sure the HilltopAds verification tag is correctly placed on your website.
Take a screenshot confirming that the tag is present.
Contact your personal manager and provide the screenshot.
Our team will complete the verification from our side.
