KYC verification process for publishers

Everything you need to know about the KYC verification for active publishers and how to go through the KYC verification process.

If you receive a notification about the necessary to go through the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process, it means that to receive your next payment you need to upload your identification documents (ID).

Here is a quick guide on how to successfully pass the KYC verification.

Upload your identification documents (ID).

You can receive a KYC notification to your email address used for registration with HilltopAds. To upload your identification documents (ID) please do the following:

  1. Go to the My Account section of your personal HilltopAds account;

  2. Navigate to the KYC verification tab;

  3. There you need to upload the identification documents (ID) - passport, driving license, etc;

    Please pay attention to the file requirements: The acceptable format is JPG/JPEG, PDF, PNG. Maximum upload size is {5Mb}.

  4. Click the Upload document button.

After clicking, your documents will be reviewed within 3-5 business days. As soon as your documents are reviewed you will receive a notification. Moreover, you can check statuses in the KYC verification tab.

Identification documents (ID) requirements.

Please pay attention to the your documents requirements:

  • the photo should show your face in profile;

  • your ID card should be easy to read;

  • there should be no extraneous graphic elements in the photo (including, but not limited to, third-party inscriptions, drawings, icons, etc.);

  • the photo must be original: we do not accept copies of photos or their scans.

If the uploaded documents do not comply with our rules, we reserve the right to reject the documents and request new ones, as well as request additional clarifying documents.

The KYC verification statuses.

There are 3 statuses that you can see:

  1. Pending - you will see this status while the uploaded documents are under the review.

  2. Declined - you will see this status when the uploaded documents are declined. You can upload new ID.

  3. Verified - you will see this status when the uploaded documents are approved by the Security department. After that, all HilltopAds features and future payments will be available for you.
