Earlier, HilltopAds banner campaigns solely relied on the CPC model, where payment was made per click. With the introduction of CPM pricing, these two formats – Banner Desktop and Banner Mobile – are now accessible to you, providing you with more flexibility when planning your campaign.

How to launch a CPM banner campaign
Getting started takes less than a minute – it’s a single field change in your existing campaign setup.
Step 1
Go to the ‘Manage Campaigns’ section in your account and press Add campaign
Step 2. Choose your ad format
Decide which audience to target and select Banner mobile or Banner desktop respectively.
Step 3.Switch the Type to CPM
Open the dropdown in the Type box and pick CPM instead of CPC. Done that is the only change you make in the campaign set-up.
Step 4. Configure your campaign as usual
Set your campaign name, traffic channels, frequency capping, targeting, and creative. All standard settings apply.
💡 Frequency capping is available on CPM campaigns just as it is on CPC – use it to control how many times a user sees your banner within a given time window.
